Pacific Cement Philippines, Inc. (PACEMCO), a Filipino owned company and the pioneer in cement technology in the Philippines, operating an integrated management system that conforms to world-class standards in today’s highly competitive cement industry.
For Pacemco, the road to corporate success was a long uphill climb starting in 1967 when the company commenced commercial operations, some three years after it was given the license to manufacture Portland in 1964. Management’s vision to bring the Company to the forefront of corporate success and to get ready for the fierce competition in the global front in 90s reaped for the Company a string of awards and commercial successes. But as warriors in the global economic front repeatedly say, the battle does not stop at commercial success; it is only the beginning of a long sustainable and profitable corporate journey. As with most thriving business ventures, the policy continuous improvement is at the core of PACEMCO’s business policy. PACEMCO remains committed to help the socioeconomic development of the country through employment generation, responsible use of the ecology and the environment, and the stewardship of the communities surrounding its plants site. Today, PACEMCO remains one of the biggest employers and taxpayers in the CARAGA region and will hopefully remain so as long as it remains faithful to its commitment to the Filipino nation.
