magsaysay bridge The new 2nd Magsaysay Bridge and Bypass Road in Butuan City has changed the skyline of Butuan City . This P 1.962 billionĀ  infrastructure, with a length of 10.87 kilometers, links the Surigao- Butuan and Iligan- Cagayan- Butuan City Roads. PACEMCO supplied 116,000 bags of Type I cement in bulk during the initial construction of the cable-stayed bridge in 2005. Pacemco also supplied Extra Super Portland Type I and Super Portland Plus Type IP cements during the construction of the Bypass Road.

This project is part of the Lower Agusan Development Project Stage I, Phase II. Since the completion of the Magsaysay Viaduct, traffic flow in the old Magsaysay Bridge has smoothened. More than 100,000 bags of Extra Super Portland cement were supplied to complete the entire project. The project has also utilized our Pacifc Super Portland Plus in minor concrete structures such as ripraps and among others.
