The project officially started last July 1, 2010. The SAP Team was pulled out from their respective offices to the Guesthouse Conference Room on the day after the kick-off. The team together with Fasttrack representatives, Ms. Celabel Golimlim, Functional Consultant and Ms. Denisse Calaquian, Project Manager worked together to produce the desired result.

The reason why we opted to SAP B1 is to make our lives better. To replace the previous system that is not suitable to our needs. To generate a real time and accurate data for management decision making. The system is a good tool for transparency, accountability and empowerment which are included in our corporate values. Also, this supports our environmental thrust on less consumption of paper

There were numerous obstacles and mistakes that we encountered on the said project. But, we laughed and learned at our mistakes. Despite of all the pressures, we were able to cope them up because of the full cooperation of the team.

We argue to agree… this happened on the finalization of the “To be Business Process” stage. We had conflicting ideas on everything but everybody made an effort to listen and to understand each other. In so doing, this enabled us to come up with an agreed decision or solution at the end of the day.

We were very grateful to our top management that they were very supportive to us throughout the project. Their presence was felt that motivated us to work more. After seven months of hardwork, the turn-over of the project has finally come last February 10, 2011. Pacemco now runs SAP.
